Travel Vaccinations

  • It is essential that you receive the correct advice and treatment for your trip. If vaccinations are recommended, they may need some time to produce the antibodies necessary to protect you and become effective.
  • Some vaccines are compulsory for travel into some countries and vaccination certificates may also be required.
  • You may also need a course depending on the destination and vaccines required.
  • In some cases, you may require booster doses, even if you have had the vaccination in the past.

This all means you should be contacting us at least 6 weeks prior to your departure to ensure you are protected by the time you travel. It will be helpful for clients to arrive about 15 minutes before their appointment with a written history of previous vaccinations (including those received during childhood), any medical conditions and medication. You may have to check with your GP for some of this information.

A consultation fee of £20 is charged at the start of each consultation.

However, clients who subsequently purchase vaccinations and/or anti malarias will be refunded this charge.
